Hi,
I have apex 20.1 with 12c database which has been working fine. However, i have two queries in this regards as following.
- How to make change apex URL as per our own given name
- How this application is to be available publicly.
Thanks.

In Oracle Apex 20.1, there is an option for friendly URLs. To make this option active, go to Shared Components > Application Definition Attributes > Properties > Friendly URLs.
To make the Oracle Apex application public, go to Shared Components > Authentication Schemes then click on the Create button.
Then specify the name for authentication, for example, noauth, and select the scheme as No Authentication from the drop-down.

Hi,
Will it be working by entering following information in my url?
http:
stands for HyperText Transfer Protocol and operates at the application layer.hostname
is the domain name of the server. It can also include a port number or an IP address.port
is the port number assigned when configuring Oracle REST Data Services.ords
is the service name defined when configuring Oracle REST Data Services.Vinish Kapoor
Yes, it is all based on the server configuration. You can also use your custom domain name, i.g. yourname.com to eliminate port and hostname information.

Much Appreciated.
Last query regarding this, if i enable flag as friendly URL then where this URL will be storing in order to run an application.
Thanks.

Not storing anywhere, it will just convert the old URL to a new URL format.
