saving image in table vs application directory in oracle apex

hi,
I have requirement to save image with voucher entry. Can you please guide which approach is good.
1. Save image in table as blob.
2. Save image in application directory and path to save in column.

      Simply create a form on that table and then change the item type of blob column to file browse item so that the user can upload the image. And when the user will click on the Apply Changes button your voucher data and image both will be saved.

        ok. thanks but is it ok if using 18c express database and many daily images to save in blob. because images may require much space. please advise

      Yes, if database storage issues, then it is recommended that you store the BLOB to the file system. You can check the following post for that:

        thanks. this procedure is to convert blob in table to file.
        In my case if I get file with file browser and when user press save button I want to change file name to voucher number just saved and save file on disk. I think for this purpose we don't need to save file into blob table and than convert to file. please guide me if I am wrong.
