Hello Sir,
Are you familiar with LDAP and specifically with LDAP Search.
I would like to create a function with which I can use the entered E-Mail in a field to search a user in the LDAP List. If the person is found, data such as the name and email, username should be inserted automatically in a table.
Do you know anything about this or can you recommend something?

You can check the following tutorial, having comprehensive details on how you can access LDAP data from Oracle.

Thank you 🙂
I have created a function by orientating on the recommended tutorial.
I wanted to test the function with the folllowing code:
However I only get the notification: Statement processed.
How can I get the return statement from the function , so whether is true or false ?
Ana
With this function I wanted to retrieve data for the user with the corresponding email.
However I am not sure how I can test this function, the statement is processed.
How I already mentioned with the function I would like to find out whether the person with the entered email-address (this is not the email-address of the logged in user) exists in ldap.
If so then it should return true and if the user does not exist in the db yet, it should make an insert and add this user to the db.
