Create CLONE ROW button for Interactive Report in Oracle Apex

  • 0

Hello - Thank you for your excellent post dated Oct 27 2019 for creating a DELETE ROW BUTTON in an Interactive Report.

Do you have a similar tutorial  so that I can CLONE/COPY the row, rather than delete the row?

Thank you!

Ahh - I used your reponse to another post to:

    • create a dummy column for Clone, set to a link (with an fa-clone icon)
    • set the link to a target page, which opens up my modal dialog for creating a new row
    • passed the relevant parameters via the link to create the new record/row.

It's great, because, in this instance, I like having the new window open and ready for users to tweak and edit.
